The latest release of ArcBlock's Discuss Kit adds support for emoji reactions in feeds. This update enables users to react to posts and comments using emojis, as well as language auto-translation, refinements to user notifications and user interface (UI) styling, and bug fixes to improve platform usability.

- Emoji Reactions in Feeds
Users can react to posts and comments with emojis. This feature provides an additional method for feedback and interaction within discussions.
- Dark Mode Support for Document Posts and Editor
For builders who prefer Dark Mode, it is now fully supported for document posts and the editor. With Dark Mode enabled, users will experience improved readability and consistency in different lighting conditions. Builders can enable this in their app settings. Check out some examples below.
- Auto-translation support added to feeds
Feeds now support automatic translation, allowing users to view posts and comments in their selected language.

- Improved Bookmarks
The bookmarking feature has been enhanced to allow users to click on labels within bookmark details, directing them to related lists. This improvement simplifies navigation by making it easier to find related content.
- Notification Logic Optimization
The notification system has been refined to ensure that users are only notified of newly added mentions on post and comment updates. This refinement reduces notification clutter, allowing users to focus on the discussions that matter most to them. - UI Styling Enhancements
The dark mode styling has been improved across various components, including the profile header and GitHub embeds. These updates ensure a consistent and visually pleasing experience for users operating in dark mode.
- Search Functionality Enhancements
The search interface has undergone improvements to ensure better error handling. Now, when the search kit is not installed, users will see a clear error message instead of a confusing empty search, improving the overall usability of the search feature.
Bug Fixes#
- Discussion List Display
We’ve fixed issues that previously impacted the display of discussion lists, ensuring that they render correctly and efficiently. This fix enhances the user experience by making it easier for users to browse through discussions without visual glitches.
- Discussion lists now render as expected.
- Bookmark loading logic has been optimized to prevent rendering issues.
- External topics are no longer automatically favorited when created by the author.
- Document posts with custom slugs can now be favorited.
- Notification logic now notifies mentioned users on updates to posts or comments.
- Feed sorting issues in the user profile center have been resolved.
- Blog and document posts with Chinese slugs are now accessible.
- Various UI improvements for Arcsphere.
